    Template gallery

A starting point for every visual.

Skip the blank page. Each template is a ready-made starting brief with a preview: open it in the Studio, adjust the wording to your subject, then generate. If you use a brand kit, its colours, logo and tone are added just as they are for any other brief.

    How templates work

A starting brief, not a finished file.

A template is a saved written brief plus a preview image that shows the kind of result it aims for. It gives you a strong first direction. You still decide what gets generated.

    A ready-made brief

Each template stores a description of a look: subject, style, light and mood. Its card shows a name, a short description, a category and a preview.

    Apply Template opens the Studio

Open a template and select Apply Template. The Studio opens with the template's brief as your starting idea. Nothing is generated until you start it.

    Everything stays editable

The brief is plain text. Rewrite it, add your subject or cut what you do not need. Some briefs contain a placeholder in braces, such as {subject}: replace it with your own words before you generate.

Your brand kit applies as usual

Templates are not tuned to any one brand. When you have saved a brand kit and brand application is on (it is by default, and always in Brand mode), your colours, font names, logo and tone are added to the brief, exactly as for an idea you type yourself.

Some templates need a higher plan

Each template carries a plan badge. A lock means your current plan does not include it, and opening it shows an upgrade prompt.

    Choosing a template

Start from what you need to make.

Search by name or filter by category, then open a few previews. The collection leans towards creative looks. These are the main kinds of template you will find.

    Portraits
Profile pictures and stylised portraits. Describe the person, the setting and where the picture will appear. The result is a newly generated image, so check faces, hands and small details before you use it.
    Social looks
Trend-style looks for posts and stories. The template sets the style; you add the topic. In Simple mode, put any short on-image text in quotes: quoted text is checked for spelling after generation.
    Artistic styles
Illustrated, pixel-art and instant-photo looks, among others. They suit campaign concepts and a change of pace on social. Keep your subject concrete so the style does not take over.
    Product and food photography
A smaller set covers product shots, food photography and product ads. Use them for light and composition, then describe your product precisely: shape, colour, material, label. A template does not reproduce your actual product, so compare every result with the real item.
    Branding
Brand-led imagery works best with a saved brand kit, so your colours and logo are part of the brief. Check generated logos and lettering carefully before you publish.

    From template to finished visual

Four steps, one image at a time.

    1. 01

      Pick and preview

Browse or search the gallery and open a template to see its preview and description.

    2. 02

      Open it in the Studio

Select Apply Template. The brief appears as your starting idea, ready to edit.

    3. 03

      Make it yours

Replace placeholders, name your subject and add any text in quotes. Improve my brief can rewrite the wording for you.

    4. 04

      Generate, check, download

Flashly expands the brief, picks a model and a format, and generates one image. An automatic check reviews text, logo, colours and visible defects. Review it yourself, regenerate if needed, then download the PNG.

    Questions

    Template FAQ

What is an AI image template in Flashly Studio?

A saved starting brief with a name, a category and a preview image. Apply Template opens the Studio with that brief as your idea, so you begin from a written direction instead of an empty box.

Do I still need to write a prompt?

Not from scratch. The template gives you a brief you can use as it is or edit. Before generating, Flashly expands your brief into a detailed prompt. You will usually want to add your own subject and replace any placeholder in braces.

Will a template keep my visuals on brand?

Templates are not built for a specific brand. If you have saved a brand kit and brand application is on, your colours, font names, logo and tone are added to the brief as for any other idea, and an automatic check flags problems with text, logo and palette. Review every image before you publish it.

    Why is a template locked?

Templates carry a plan badge. A lock means your current plan does not include that template; opening it shows an upgrade prompt. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.

Can I choose the image format or the AI model?

In the default Studio mode, Flashly picks the model and the aspect ratio from your brief; the app has no ratio picker. Expert mode, on plans that include it, lets you choose the model. The API accepts an aspect ratio. Images download as PNG files.

Are images made from templates watermarked?

They follow the same rules as any image you generate in the Studio: on the free plan, exported images carry a Flashly watermark; on paid plans they do not.
